The problem
Legal research means reading long documents to find a few relevant passages, parties and holdings. For smaller languages such as Albanian, good tools barely exist.
What we changed
We built a prototype that parses legal judgments into sections, identifies parties and key elements, and makes the collection searchable.
The role of technology
Retrieval over the document collection, AI-assisted extraction into a standard structured format, and a review step in which people correct the output.
