Venture model
From opportunity to operating business.
This is how we develop our own ventures. Client projects and contract engagements follow a scope agreed around the client’s needs.
01Five stages
The sequence we follow.
Every business we build, our own or with a partner, moves through the same five stages. Each one ends with something concrete.
01
Identify
Find problems, customer needs and market opportunities worth solving.
- What happens
- We look for a customer problem that people already pay to solve, and solve badly. We test demand with real conversations and small offers before we write production code.
- What comes out
- A written opportunity case: customer, problem, price, channel and the reasons it could fail.
02
Design
Define the product, the economics, the market, the operating model and the customer experience.
- What happens
- We design the product, the unit economics, the route to market, the operating model and the customer experience, and decide which steps people should keep.
- What comes out
- A business design with target margins, an operating workflow and a first launch plan.
03Software and AI
Build
Develop the software, AI systems, commerce infrastructure and automation the business needs.
- What happens
- We build the software, AI components, commerce infrastructure and automation the design calls for. Nothing more. Reusable parts come from our own infrastructure.
- What comes out
- A working system: storefront or product, backend, workflows and the controls around them.
04
Operate
Connect sales, customer communication, production, fulfilment and the processes behind them.
- What happens
- We launch and run the operation: sales, customer communication, production, fulfilment and support, with every step recorded.
- What comes out
- Paying customers, a working operation and real data about both.
05
Scale
Use technology, data and automation to improve the economics and expand into new markets.
- What happens
- We use that data to automate what repeats, improve margins and enter new markets. What works becomes infrastructure for the next business.
- What comes out
- Better economics, new markets and reusable capability.
Software is one stage of five. The business is the whole sequence.
02Our model
Technology is leverage. The business is the product.
Our ventures let us work through the whole chain: product, software, operations and customer experience. The practical lessons inform our client work.
Client engagements have their own scope, responsibilities and delivery plan. We agree these with the client rather than assuming every project needs a new business.
03What we look for
Opportunities worth building.
We say no to most ideas. The ones we pursue usually have most of these properties.
01
A real customer and a real price
People already spend money on the problem, and we can reach them at a cost the business can carry.
02
A durable layer to own
The customer relationship, distribution, production, proprietary data or the operating workflow. Something that does not get cheaper when AI does.
03
Work that technology makes cheaper
Intake, advice, quoting, coordination or support, where software and AI change the cost of each order.
04
A path into Europe
A product or service that can be made or delivered efficiently from Kosovo and sold competitively in the EU, Germany or Switzerland.
05
Room for people where they matter
Craft, judgement, verification or trust that customers value, and that we do not try to automate away.
04Advantage
Why we can do this.
Building a business takes more than code. These are the capabilities we combine.
01
Engineering depth
Three decades of building serious information systems: tax administration, public finance, parliamentary systems, enterprise integration. We know how operational software fails and how to keep it running.
02
AI-native execution
AI and agents sit inside workflows where they produce measurable leverage: intake, classification, drafting, routing. People approve what matters. Nothing is added as a marketing feature.
03
Real-world operations
Our work reaches past software into sales operations, customer service, commerce, production and cross-border logistics. Nagelista makes physical products in Kosovo and delivers them to customers in Europe.
04
Reusable infrastructure
We develop shared capabilities for customer communication, workflows, approvals and AI integration. Each business can build on that foundation instead of starting from zero.
05Kosovo and Europe
An operating base, not a price list.
Build efficiently in Kosovo. Sell competitively in Europe.
Inovativi has been based in Prishtina since 2007. Kosovo gives us engineering talent, production capacity and craft skills, in the same time zone as Berlin, Vienna and Zurich.
We do not sell that as cheap labour. The value is capability, speed and economics together: one team designs the product, adjusts production and answers the customer, without hand-offs between countries and contractors.
01
Engineering capacity
Senior engineers who have built tax, finance and public-sector systems, working in Central European Time.
02
Production and craft
Handwork, prototyping, 3D printing, moulding and casting, close to the people who design the product.
03
European market access
Experience in the German market, with cross-border VAT and logistics, and products designed for EU customers from the start.
04
Partnerships
We work with consultancies, producers and distribution partners where they bring something we should not build ourselves.
06How we work
Three ways a business gets built.
01
Our own businesses
We identify the opportunity, fund the first stages and run the business ourselves. Nagelista is the clearest example.
02
Businesses built with partners
A partner brings the market, the customers or the craft. We bring product, technology and operations. Ownership and economics are shared.
03
Systems for established companies
Where a company needs a serious operational or AI system, we build it to the same standard we use in our own businesses.

Tell us about the market, the problem or the advantage you have. We will tell you honestly whether we think it can become a business.
