The problem
What was the commercial or operational problem?
Institutions often run budgeting and payments on ageing applications where calculations live in scripts, records are hard to trace and every change is risky. Replacing them in one step is riskier still.
What we changed
What did we change?
We rebuilt a legacy ASP.NET institutional budgeting system as a modern platform covering hierarchical budget planning, allocations, execution, invoices, payments and payroll-related calculations.
The role of technology
What role did technology play?
An API-first backend with role-based access and audit logs. Script-based calculations were replaced by a traceable formula model, so every figure can be followed back to its inputs.
The process created
What operational process was created?
- 01Hierarchical budget planning
- 02Allocation
- 03Budget execution
- 04Invoices and payments
- 05A formula trace for each calculation
- 06Reporting and audit
The outcome
What measurable outcome resulted?
A complete reference platform that demonstrates our modernisation method end to end: planned, allocated, spent and remaining amounts tracked for every budget line, with a full record trail.
What this is
A reference build, not a confidential client deployment.
